Here at The Modern Day Living we were lucky enough to get our hands on some Ellus & Krue skincare to test out – and let us tell you, it did not disappoint.
For some background, Ellus & Krue is an innovative Australian owned brand that launched in March 2020, with the inspiration behind the brand being that the founders father contracted skin cancer and needed gentle skincare products to assist in the post surgery care. Their mission? to provide evidence-based skincare that empowers everyone with healthy skin at any age AND to support research into cancer and ageing to live better for longer, with a portion of their revenue being donated to a cancer research organisation.

The range combines the power of nature and science and consists of a complete skin routine from cleanser to exfoliant, toner to serum and day cream to night cream to eye cream. The entire range is vegan, cruelty-free, paraben, glycol and SLSs free and made in Queensland.
To give you some information on the specific products we’ve tested – The hero product of the range is The EPI-gN™ Serum. This product is produced in collaboration with cancer and ageing scientist Professor Derek Richard of the Cancer & Ageing Research Program. The serum is formulated to prevent the signs of ageing and repair and revitalise the appearance of the skin through reducing fine lines and improving complexion.
In addition to this we tested the Intensive Night Repair cream. Consisting of Retinol, peptides and potent botanicals, The Intensive Night Repair is a velvety treatment described as “beauty sleep in a jar” (perfect for those nights where the children just will not settle) and helps refine the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The final product was a specialist eye treatment, the Cellular Eye Repair which is an intensely nourishing treatment for the delicate eye area.
What happened when we tried the products you may ask? Magic.
Not only do each of the products smell AND feel incredible when using, but they genuinely provide a glow in our skin like we haven’t seen before. Picture – just came out of a deluxe facial treatment on a tropical holiday kind of glow – yes, we mean it. Incredible. Glow aside, in such a short period of use, our skin was brighter, complexion was clearer and the products have genuinely boosted our confidence.
