Child-friendly hotels around the world

Going on a holiday with children, especially for the first time, can be quite daunting. How will they go on the plane? How will they keep entertained whilst away? Will they be safe? Will we get some alone time from the kids whilst we’re away? – 101 questions will be buzzing around your mind.

The accommodation is likely to be somewhere you’re going to spend a lot of time and therefore, it is best to opt for an option that is child friendly. Here at The Modern Day Living, we want to make it easier for all mothers out there! Put some of the stress at ease and book in one of our favourite child friendly hotels from the below:

  • Atlantis the Palm – Dubai

If you’ve got little ones that have an (understandable) obsession with Moana or The Little Mermaid, Atlantis the Palm is the one for you. The ocean inspired resort boasts the world’s largest waterpark and an aquarium within the resort which can also be viewed directly from the signature suites.

  • Grand Wailea Resort – Hawaii

Situated directly on the beach in the lush tropical gardens of Hawaii, the Grand Wailea Resort is perfect for kids that are into water activities. The resort boasts the Wailea Canyon Activity Pool which is a complex made up of nine pools on six different levels and the floors connect via weaving slides, rapids, rope swings and even the world’s first ‘water elevator’. Outside of the pool, kids can enjoy hula lessons, video games, a lego wall and more whilst the parents nestle into the ultimate luxurious relaxing getaway.

  • Soneva Jani – Maldives

Another family favourite, the Soneva Jani resort is located in the Maldives and consists of a collection of villas floating on the sea. The kids can spend their days in the open air cinemas, the icecream parlour and sliding into the crystal clear sea for water sports. Adults can use this time to wind down and relax in the sun.

  • Resort at Paws Up, Montana
