Thank you so much for chatting with us! Can you please introduce yourself to our readers?

Hi, My name is Chef Ju’von! I am an Award-Winning Celebrity Chef from New York City but reside now in Orlando Florida.

You haven’t always been a chef, can you talk us through your path to becoming an award-winning Personal Chef?

No, I haven’t always been a Personal Chef.  After being diagnosed with End-Stage Renal Disease, I had to figure things out with life. Someone recommended I start catering. Though moving through fear and worries because I had no idea how to do this, it became a side hustle. Figuring out who I was in Christ and newly giving my life over to the Lord, I begin going to medical assistant school to get into the health field. Being on dialysis for three days a week, three and a half hours to 4 four hours a day gave me time to think and pray. That’s what peaked my interest in wanting to help others at the age 21 or so.

After working with What’s Hot In Hip Hop LLC for some time being the Chief Social Media Officer, I also begin working with lots of celebrities doing corresponding and interviews. I channeled my personalities to win over a vast audience group and started promoting at the same time my culinary skills but most of all utilizing my testimony of overcoming Kidney Failure. I was then selected for a competition of my own pears, chefs to compete who’s the most popular and won first place and earned the physical award, Celebrity Chef of the Year.

What is your favorite thing about being a Personal Chef?

I continued down the path of being a Personal Chef because I love having the opportunity of being myself. A charismatic, enjoyable person to be around. I love to serve people and make them happy with food and the eggsperience.

What has been the highlight of your career to date?

The highlight of my career I would say is during the time of the pandemic. I say that only because this is where God really stretched me and made who I am today with icing on the cake. Business took off like there was no runway.

If you could cook for any person in the world of your choice, who would it be and why?

If I could cook for one person in the world, I would have to say Bruno Mars more less because I am a huge fan and I have yet to meet him. I am not the type to be star struck but him… I don’t know. Lol

What advice would you give any aspiring chefs?

The advise I like to give any chef and or aspiring chef is, stay true to the craft and never lower your value just to get work assignments. This is an absolute art and God will absolutely bring you the client you desire.

Do you have any exciting projects coming up that you can share with us?

Yes, I have a few eggciting eggs in the pot slowly coming up to a boil. Definitely, I can say that I am working on my first cookbook and the desire is to start a TV show for a major tv network.
